The Alfond Inn at Rollins Take on a vital overnight role maximizing revenue and delivering exceptional customer service. This includes effective reservation sales, handling all guest accounts efficiently and accurately, and assisting in all phases of the guest experience such as check‑in, check‑out, and problem resolution. The position is an overnight shift from
10:00 pm–6:00 am
or
11:00 pm–7:00 am
at a pay rate of
$18.00 per hour. Responsibilities
Work with and understand financial information and data, using basic arithmetic functions. Cross‑train in other accounting or hotel‑related areas. Perform guest services functions as required (check guests in/out, take reservations, wait‑up calls, etc.). Audit and reconcile financial and statistical reports. Prepare and distribute daily reports (Daily Operating Report, Discount Programs, Tax Reports, etc.) according to hotel standards. Prepare and distribute month‑end reports. Audit, reconcile, consolidate, and transmit all credit cards on a timely basis. Prioritize job functions to meet deadlines. Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual data processing system functions as required. Keep management abreast of any unusual operational or financial events and/or deviations of policies or procedures. Respond to governmental inquiries upon receipt. Skills Required
High‑level customer service skills; effective communication with guests and team members. Ability to learn quickly, pay attention to detail, and maintain composure when working under pressure. Proficiency with keyboarding and computer technology (e‑mail, MS Word, Excel, and other hotel‑related systems). Aptitude with numbers and data analysis. Experience / Education
Knowledge or experience of accounting principles; prior customer service/hospitality experience preferred. High school diploma and/or equivalent work experience. Physical Demands
