The Commercial Credit Analyst will assist lenders in evaluating credit requests from both new and existing commercial clients. This role involves performing in-depth financial analysis, preparing credit recommendations and documentation for Loan Committee review, conducting annual credit assessments, ensuring adherence to bank credit policies, and maintaining accurate financial records from client statements.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze financial statements and other relevant data for prospective and current borrowers, producing reports on short- and long-term credit outlooks.
Provide loan recommendations to lenders, including detailed documentation to support decisions.
Interpret financial trends and key ratios such as cash flow coverage and debt-to-equity.
Prepare thorough credit analyses using spreadsheets and written memorandums.
Recommend loan grades following comprehensive credit evaluations.
Coordinate departmental tasks to ensure smooth information flow.
Generate assigned reports and conduct annual loan reviews.
Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Credit Analyst within a banking environment.
