Job Overview We are seeking a
Mechanical Engineer
to join our Mechanical Engineering team and contribute to the design and development of advanced missile systems. This role involves mechanical analysis, CAD design, and testing of complex materials, structural components, and functional systems.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical analysis, CAD design, and/or testing of missile system components using advanced engineering tools and Siemens NX CAD software.
Apply
GD&T principles
to ensure precision in design.
Adapt and improve upon proven design features from previous successful projects.
Develop creative solutions to engineering challenges.
Execute design, development, analysis, and testing activities for assigned projects.
Create and manage test programs to evaluate system elements such as materials and structural components.
Oversee test activities and fabrication of test articles, including documentation of results.
Communicate project status and results through detailed reports and presentations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with
2 years of related engineering experience
, OR a Master’s degree in STEM with
1 year of related experience .
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in
Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering .
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Hands-on mechanical integration experience, preferably in the aerospace industry.
