Registered Nurse (RN) – Residential Programs (Bronx)
Schedule : Full-Time | 40 hours per week (flexible)
Employment Type : Temp-to-Perm
Setting : Residential / Community-Based
Overview We are seeking compassionate and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Residential Nursing team in the Bronx. These full-time, temp-to-perm positions offer meaningful work in supportive group home environments serving adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Multiple openings are available, including a Monday–Friday schedule and flexible options across various Bronx locations.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee medical care for assigned residents
Conduct ongoing health assessments, monitor chronic conditions, and address acute needs
Document all findings and follow up on care plans and treatment outcomes
Communicate regularly with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Manage hospitalizations, emergency visits, and follow-up care
Supervise AMAPs and LPNs in medication administration and treatment protocols
Provide AMAP training, certification, and re-certification as needed
Develop and update individualized nursing care plans and protocols
Attend interdisciplinary and management meetings to discuss residents’ health needs
Qualifications
Active New York State RN license required
Current CPR certification (training available if needed)
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
Strong communication, organization, and clinical assessment skills
Valid NY or Tri-State Driver’s License preferred
