Truck Driver Routes (Non CDL)
GreenDrop Charitable Donations is a leading for‑profit thrift operator with a mission to champion reuse and inspire a future where secondhand is second nature. We supply our 300+ stores with gently‑used, one‑of‑a‑kind items donated by community members to local non‑profits.
Responsibilities
Safely maneuver a 16–18 foot box truck through residential streets and tight spaces.
Complete daily residential routes picking up clothing, small furniture, and other household items.
Understand local streets and complete routes efficiently.
Use GPS directions to navigate routes.
Complete all required daily paperwork including vehicle inspection, delivery reports, and maintenance forms.
Assist other drivers with workload when needed.
Maintain truck cleanliness and readiness for the next shift.
Ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards per Savers policies and state laws.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (3‑5 years).
Class A CDL required for this position.
2–3 years experience driving a 16–18 foot box truck.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs consistently.
Ability to push or pull a pallet jack.
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
Proficient with GPS and two‑way communication tools.
High organizational and time‑management skills.
Ability to work independently and handle high volume of stops.
Must pass DOT medical card, pre‑employment drug screen, and have an un‑violated motor vehicle record within last three years.
