Subfloor preparation and installation of strip, plank, and patterned wood floors. The ideal candidate will also have experience in sanding, hand scraping, and finishing of wood floors.
Responsibilities
Clearly and effectively communicate with the project manager
Prepare the subfloor, including use of self-leveling concrete
Apply moisture barriers
Install strip, plank, and patterned wood floors
Sanding, coloring, and finishing of wood floors
Document moisture readings, inventory, organize, maintain, and track equipment
Required Skills
Complete custom wood floor projects from start to finish without supervision
Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and techniques used in the hardwood flooring trade
Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions
Clean driving record
Additional Information
Full time position
Payroll (no piece work)
