Cvent’s Global Demand Center (GDC) is seeking a strategic and hands‑on marketing professional for the role of Senior Manager/Manager, Marketing Systems, Post-Merger Integrations. This pivotal position will serve as the lead marketing project manager for post‑merger and acquisition (M&A) initiatives, focusing on integrating and transforming marketing systems, data, processes, and teams into the Cvent ecosystem. This role not only ensures seamless integration post‑M&A but also plays a key role in driving Cvent's growth strategy by maximizing the value of each acquisition.
The successful candidate will possess technical expertise, high emotional intelligence, and a proven track record in managing complex changes. You will ensure that Cvent’s post‑merger marketing activities achieve efficiency and synergy, delivering a best-in-class customer experience. In This Role, You Will: Marketing Systems & Data Integration
Lead comprehensive assessments of acquired marketing tech stacks (CRM, automation, analytics, digital platforms) to recommend integration, eliminate redundancy, and achieve cost efficiencies.
Manage data flow, hygiene, migration, and integration with Cvent core systems, overseeing solution design and field mapping.
Drive alignment of campaign operations, lead management, and reporting processes across teams.
Project & Program Management
Own the Marketing M&A playbook, ensuring consistent diligence, integration, and optimization for every deal.
Oversee the project lifecycle, including timelines, scoping, deliverables, risks, and issue resolution.
Collaborate with M&A program leads to ensure governance and clarity of responsibilities.
Platform & Process Transition
Direct the implementation and integration of marketing go-to-market systems (like Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce, 6sense, Chili Piper, chat platforms, community, and more).
Facilitate efficient communications and operations across teams post-merger.
Partner with the Web team to ensure newly acquired websites meet security, branding, analytics, and compliance standards.
Change Management & Communication
Develop and execute comprehensive internal and external communications plans, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
Build strong relationships with legacy company teams to foster adoption and cultural integration.
Deliver training, documentation, and support materials to empower stakeholders in new systems and workflows.
Vendor, Budget & Compliance Oversight
Manage marketing vendor relationships, contracts, renewals, cancellations, and negotiations.
Ensure all marketing system integrations comply with data privacy, security, and regulatory (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) standards.
Oversee budget allocations and cost tracking for all post‑merger marketing integration efforts.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Best Practices
Collaborate closely with IT, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Project Management Office, and other internal partners.
Develop integration playbooks, best practices, and a knowledge-sharing repository for ongoing improvement.
Track and report KPIs, integration success metrics, and lessons learned; translate insights into continuous process improvement.
Here’s What You Need:
Proven ability to manage multi-phase, cross‑functional projects in a complex global environment
Experience driving stakeholder alignment and change management in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments
10+ years of experience in marketing operations, technology, or program management (preferably in B2B SaaS), with at least 4 years leading marketing post‑merger integration
Deep expertise with MarTech platforms (marketing automation, data warehouses, web systems, etc.) and large-scale data migrations, system consolidations, and tech stack audits
Demonstrated executive presence, strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to build cohesive, customer-focused teams

A strong problem‑solver capable of mapping and executing process and technology integration.
Data‑driven with an analytical mindset, with a history of delivering insights and optimizing post‑merger processes.
