The University of Virginia Department of Pediatrics and Division of Genetics is inviting applications for a non‑tenure eligible clinical faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level.
Responsibilities
Staff general genetic and metabolic clinics in Charlottesville, as well as monthly/bi‑monthly satellite clinics in Winchester, Lynchburg, and Bristol.
Share coverage of the inpatient consultation service.
Provide timely response to the triage of newborn screening cases.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary staff of genetic counselors, dietitians, genetic counseling assistants, and administrative assistants.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree and eligibility for appointment to the University of Virginia faculty.
Board‑certified or eligible in clinical genetics.
Preference for candidates with biochemical genetics board certification or eligibility.
Active research interest is desirable but not required.
