Assistant COO Opportunity At Dell Children's
Dell Children's is seeking an Assistant COO who can unite stakeholders, and help drive operational excellence, growth and high-quality care across the hospital. The position is located in Austin, TX, with a salary range of $193,037 - $260,600 per year. This role is eligible for participation in the annual bonus program. Responsibilities include serving as direct report in the hospital to the Chief Operating Officer to achieve operational excellence by delivering high quality, cost‑effective care and services. Oversee the operational responsibility for a group of businesses, special projects or initiatives. Engage and assemble stakeholders to drive results focusing on revenue, services growth, expenses, margin‑control and financial goal management. Attract, recruit and retain talent, cultivating engaged operators, leaders and support staff focused on operational efficient, high‑quality care driving the consumer experience. Collaborate with executive leadership to execute business strategies that improve the overall performance metrics and financial performance. Utilize data‑driven approaches to allocate resources and elevate operational performance, Clinical Medical Information (CMI), staffing needs and benchmark data. Foster a culture of appreciation, belongingness, inclusivity, diversity and equity to drive the associate experience. Develop professional communication and information for the hospital's top operations leader.
Requirements include an associate's degree / bachelor's degree with 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 4 of those years being in leadership / management.
