Job Overview
We are looking for a Nuclear Engineer on behalf of our client for their location in Barcelona, Spain. The selected candidate should show integrity and professionalism.
Compensation & Employment Successful candidate will be employed by ATG Europe (or one of its subsidiaries) and subject to a general security screening performed by an external provider (further information will be provided at interview stage).
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance of F4E and its suppliers’ activities with applicable French safety regulations, e.g., the 2012 Order on Basic Nuclear Installations, the Environmental Code, the ESPN regulation etc.
Support the TBM team for radwaste matters.
Review technical documentation covering design, manufacturing, testing, assembly, commissioning, or decommissioning activities.
Collect, analyze, and interpret results.
Develop technical basis documents and technical evaluations.
Provide general technical assistance and activity reporting.
Qualifications
BEng in industrial, mechanical, electrical, aerospace, nuclear engineering, or similar relevant field.
At least 14 years of relevant work experience.
Knowledge and experience with severe accidents and nuclear safety codes such as MELCOR, RELAP5, or similar.
Experience in the execution and review of engineering analyses.
Experience reviewing mechanical and thermo-mechanical analysis reports.
Knowledge of handling tritium considered an asset.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Candidates must be eligible to work in EU.
