Azure Cloud Engineer (Secret clearance required)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a

Cloud Engineer

for a permanent position in

Laurel, MD . This role will support cloud modernization projects for the Department of Defense and federal civilian agencies. This role is

hybrid, on site 3 days per week .

This position requires an active Secret or Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage robust CU/CI pipelines for cloud-based applications

Work to enhance DevSecOps processes

Implement industry standards driving continuous improvement

Ensure application and operating system security

Develop infrastructure as code and containers

Act as trusted advisor to executives for cloud and DevSecOps strategy, initiatives

Requirements

Active Secret or Top Secret clearance

5+ years of DevSecOps experience

3 years of Azure development experience

Hands-on experience creating CI/CD pipelines

Skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible

Experience in Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins

Compensation

$160,000-$190,000 annual salary (depending on experience)
