The hotel's Chief Engineerleads the property's maintenance and engineering, ensuring all building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevators) and equipment function safely and efficiently, managing a team, handling budgets, and overseeing repairs and preventative care to guarantee guest comfort and operational success, often acting as the "behind-the-scenes" magic for a seamless stay. Responsibilities

Oversees all technical aspects, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pools, and refrigeration. Manages preventive maintenance programs, emergency repairs, and upkeep of guest rooms and facilities. Hires, trains, schedules, and supervises maintenance staff and external contractors. Controls departmental budgets, tracks inventory, and ensures adherence to safety codes and regulations. Focuses on ensuring a comfortable, safe, and uninterrupted guest experience by resolving technical issues quickly. Strong technical knowledge across multiple trades (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.). Leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing needs. Qualifications

Prior hotel or similar facility engineering leadership experience. Strong knowledge of MEP. Ability to develop and maintain PM Programs.
