Registered Respiratory Therapist Qualifications
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
Minimum 1 year of recent hospital-based RRT experience
Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities
Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in an acute care hospital setting
Administer and monitor respiratory therapy treatments, including ventilator management
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Accurately document all patient care activities and respiratory interventions
Respond promptly to emergency situations and deliver critical respiratory support as needed
