Nurse Practitioner – Liver Transplant Clinic

Responsibilities
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver flawless care to post‑liver transplant patients.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic test interpretations.
Develop personalized treatment plans and effectively communicate them to patients and their families.
Perform procedures such as staple and suture removal, surgical wound care, and wound‑vac dressing changes as needed.
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and maintain the highest level of patient satisfaction.
Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to advance patient outcomes.
Provide patient education on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence.
Qualifications Education:
MSN (Master of Science in Nursing) required.
Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required.
License/Certification:
Current California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing License required.
National NP certification required.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
DEA license required.
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years acute care nursing OR a 2‑year NP role required.
Experience as an NP is preferred.
Experience with transplant or hepatology patients desired.
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Salary: $150,238.40 – $240,385.60
