We are currently looking for a
Dental Hygienist
to join our growing staff and work alongside Dr Panneton and Dr Albertsen. We opened this location a few years ago, and have now developed a healthy/ solid patient base in our local community. We are now ready to add the final pieces to our outstanding team! Our practice is not only equipped with state-of-the-art technology but also staffed by highly trained professionals. We are also proficient in a wide range of procedures, including dental extractions, implants, and various other techniques. Our dental hygienist works together with doctors to meet the oral health needs of patients. patient screening procedures; such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of the health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection, dental charting and taking blood pressure and pulse removing calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surfaces of the teeth applying preventive materials to the teeth (e.g., sealants and fluorides) teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health; (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing and nutritional counseling) counseling patients about good nutrition and its impact on oral health making impressions of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth used by dentists to evaluate patient treatment needs) performing documentation and office management activities Seniority level
