Pharmacy Technician – Outpatient University of Washington – UW Medical Center – Montlake Outpatient Pharmacy

$4,000 Sign‑On Bonus

for eligible new part‑time and full‑time employees joining UW Medicine.

WORK SCHEDULE Full‑Time, 40 hours per week, Day Shift.

All activities performed under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Perform certified order entry of medication orders into the ambulatory pharmacy computer system.

Fill prescriptions and assist patients with new prescriptions and refills.

Assist in preparation of compound pharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.

The position requires organizational skills, strong communication, competence in computer entry of prescriptions and charge/credit data, and ability to perform bulk compounding from a formula under pharmacist supervision.

Required Position Qualifications Six months of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or equivalent education/experience.

Legal Requirement State of Washington Pharmacy Technician certification.

Condition of Employment UW Medicine requires a drug‑free workplace and a pre‑employment drug screen.

Compensation and Benefits Pay Range:

$61,752.00–$91,104.00
