Overview Sentara is currently hiring a Senior Respiratory Therapist. This is a full‑time position with night shift hours located in Norfolk, VA at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
About Sentara Norfolk General Hospital Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is the region's first Magnet Hospital. It is a 525‑bed medical center and home to the area's only Level I Trauma Center, Burn Trauma Unit, and nationally ranked heart program. In addition to the heart program, the hospital hosts the Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance and multiple dedicated services. The facility also serves as the primary teaching hospital for undergraduate and graduate education with Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Required Qualifications Education
Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (required)
Certification / Licensure
State Respiratory license
NBRC RRT
BLS required at time of hire
Experience
Minimum 2 years of Respiratory Care experience (required)
