Job Description
AlphaGraphics Portsmouth is actively seeking an individual to join our Large Format production team. The diverse product offerings at AlphaGraphics require an ability to learn a variety of techniques and technologies including printing, finishing, vinyl, wraps, sign application, and installation. Our Large Format Specialist will be responsible for all facets of digital print production, including the use, management, and maintenance of our large format printers and finishing equipment. We are looking for highly collaborative and dependable teammates who are driven by the opportunity to contribute to the success of a local business. We are a small, passionate, and fast‑paced team that is fully invested in the success of our company and values contributions from each team member. This is a full‑time position.

Responsibilities
Operate large format printers and finishing equipment.
Perform digital print production as needed.
Operate post‑press equipment.
Provide large format and sign finishing with installation when necessary.
Understanding of large format design and execution is a plus but not required: setting up files for cut vinyl, analyzing files for large signage, and understanding differences in substrates including vehicle graphics, wraps, and custom vinyl installations is also beneficial.
Other essential functions needed to provide the highest quality customer service and product output.
Qualifications
The drive and ability to learn.
Positive, professional attitude.
Strong work ethic and problem‑solving skills are critical.
Must be willing and capable of learning new methods and technologies.
Cooperative interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work quickly and neatly while multi‑tasking; strong multi‑tasking ability.
Basic math skills and ability to use a computer.
Ability to lift 50 lbs safely and work at a table over waist high.
Effective communication skills (oral and written).
Ability to follow instructions and prioritize workload while staying organized.
Additional Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Familiarity with current signs, print, and copy technology (highly desirable).
Working knowledge of computer technology.
Positive “can do” attitude.
