We are looking for an experienced Engineer Technical Specialist in North Charleston, SC.
The selected candidate will ensure engineering and operations processes function properly to allow production users to perform daily tasks with minimal interruption and develop, document, implement, and ensure compliance with requirements for engineering tools, processes, and standards.
Position Responsibilities
Ensure engineering and operations processes function properly to allow production users to perform daily tasks with minimal interruption.
Develop, document, implement, and ensure compliance with requirements for engineering tools, processes, and standards.
Support the integration of engineering designs while meeting regulatory requirements.
Provide configuration management, coordinate changes, and manage product standard implementation across company units and programs.
Represent company interests on external standards committees.
Maintain and distribute engineering documents, reports, and correspondence.
Analyze and validate engineering performance metrics and coordinate organizational needs.
Lead the validation of user access roles and work with minimal direction.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate related work experience as a Lead Engineer or related, including 5 years of experience in each of the following:
Conducting integrated functional testing using ENOVIA
Creating and modifying 3D wireframe models using CATIA
Creating sheet metal parts, unfolding components, and generating flat patterns using CATIA; and
Configuration and change management.
Up to 40% domestic travel required.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
