Maintenance Mechanic – Newport Housing Authority
Full‑time position located in Newport, KY. This role is open to qualified individuals ready to perform apartment maintenance, general repairs, preparing and painting units, and handling work orders.
Pay Base pay range:
$16.00 – $19.00 per hour (based on skills and experience).
Responsibilities
Apartment turns
General maintenance repairs
Prepping and painting units
Work orders as needed
General maintenance of exterior grounds and systems
Willingness to assist in areas beyond repair and maintenance
Qualifications
Formal training preferred in carpentry, light plumbing, light electrical, painting, or refurbishing.
Valid driver’s license and insurability.
1+ years of related maintenance experience (entry level acceptable).
