to support an
Interim Controller
need beginning in early January. This is a 3–4 month engagement supporting post-close priorities while the client conducts a permanent CFO search.
This role requires a
hands‑on, experienced Controller
who can step in quickly, partner with leadership, and provide stability and execution during a transition period.

Required Criteria (100% of these must be met to be considered):
Hands‑on Controller experience at companies in the $2m - $30m revenue range
Experience leading month end close, financial reporting, consolidations, strengthening internal controls and processes
Experience being the primary go‑to accounting/finance person for cross‑functional personnel and key third parties (audit firm, lenders, tax advisors)
Experience with excel's advanced functionality (very strong overall excel skills)
Local to the Denver, CO area
Available to start the week of 1/5 or 1/12 and be available to be onsite for 2 weeks in the beginning of the engagement (can be flexible after the first couple weeks)
Preferred Criteria:
Experience with ERP implementations
Experience within the services industry or B2B
Live local to Denver but are very open to seeing remote candidates if the criteria/skillset matches up
