Mortgage Loan Officer – Remote
OTE: $85K
Full‑Time | Remote
Role Overview This is a full-time, remote sales role focused on guiding clients through the mortgage process from first contact through closing. You will build relationships, assess financial information, and match clients with loan products that meet their needs while staying compliant with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Generate new business by identifying prospective clients and building referral relationships with real estate partners and other sources.
Consult with clients to understand financial situations and homeownership goals.
Explain loan options including FHA, VA, and conventional products.
Guide clients through the mortgage application process.
Collect, review, and verify financial documentation such as income and credit information.
Structure loans in compliance with federal, state, and company guidelines.
Partner with underwriters, processors, real estate agents, and title companies to ensure smooth and timely closings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Active NMLS-registered Loan Originator / Mortgage Loan Officer license required.
Strong sales, communication, and customer service skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple files.
Working knowledge of mortgage lending and compliance preferred.
