Blazer Jobs is actively seeking Occupational Therapists for travel contract opportunities in Aurora, CO for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a fantastic opportunity for both local professionals and travel clinicians looking for flexible, rewarding assignments in a dynamic and supportive school district.
Location: Aurora, Colorado
Employment Type: Full-Time | Local W-2 or Travel Contract
Pay Range: $38-$50+/hour (based on experience and employment type)
Employment Options Local W-2 (Blazer Jobs)
Full academic year (August-May)
Weekly pay: $38-$45/hour (based on experience)
Full benefits: health, dental, and vision
401(k) with employer match
CEU reimbursement and professional development support
Ongoing support from the Blazer Jobs team
Travel W-2 or 1099
Flexible contracts (4-12 weeks or per semester)
Weekly pay: $45-$50+/hour
Weekly gross: $1,600-$2,100+ with tax-free stipends (if eligible)
Housing, meals/per diem, and travel reimbursements
Assistance with multi-state licensure
Responsibilities
Conduct assessments to identify student needs and create effective therapy plans
Work with students to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, and other developmental areas
Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement therapeutic strategies
Provide direct therapy services and track progress
Ensure compliance with state and district regulations
Requirements
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
Active Colorado Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility)
Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting
