BCS Wealth Management

BCS Wealth Management is an established, growth-oriented RIA based in Johnson City, TN, serving individuals and families, businesses and non‑profit organizations. The firm manages approximately $1 billion in client assets and operates using a collaborative, team model. Role overview

The Associate Financial Advisor will work closely with a Lead Advisor to deliver high‑quality planning and investment advice to clients while gradually assuming more client‑facing responsibility and ownership of relationships over time. This role is ideal for someone on the CFP track who wants a clear, structured path to becoming a lead advisor in an ensemble firm environment. Key responsibilities

Support the Lead Advisor in preparing for client meetings, including building and updating financial plans, investment analyses, and recommendations. Participate in client meetings as a “second chair,” taking notes, handling follow‑up items, and increasingly contributing to advice delivery and discussion. Create and maintain planning deliverables (retirement projections, tax and cash flow analyses, estate planning summaries, insurance reviews, etc.). Coordinate with the Client Service Associate to ensure accurate and timely implementation of account openings, money movements, and other operational items. Proactively follow up on action items with clients and internal team members to drive execution of recommendations. Over time, assume primary responsibility for a segment of client relationships transitioned from senior advisors and appropriately matched new referrals. Career path and compensation

BCS Wealth Management offers a clearly defined progression from Associate to Solo/Lead Advisor: Competitive base salary commensurate with experience and credentials, with a structure designed to be attractive in the East Tennessee market for CFP‑track associates. Support in pursuit of obtaining CFP® credential. Ideal candidate profile

2–5 years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, or a closely related role (internship, part‑time, and full‑time experience all valued). Actively pursuing the CFP designation (CFP coursework completed or in progress strongly preferred). Strong technical aptitude in financial planning topics: retirement, investments, tax‑awareness, risk management, estate basics, and cash flow. Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills and follow‑through. Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with clients in a professional, confident manner. Team‑first mindset with a desire to grow into a lead advisor role within a structured, collaborative ensemble firm. Why BCS Wealth Management
