Your Role at KIK

The Utility role is at our Chicago manufacturing facility, making household cleaners, where you will be involved in all activities on a production line, this includes driving a forklift when required with the hours of 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday and may require overtime as needed. While making the products, we must ensure that the products are manufactured following our customer’s quality specifications. The pay for this position is $21.50/hr.

Responsibilities What You’ll Be Doing

Will act as a Relief for others during breaks.

Drive forklift must be forklift certified.

Pack completed bottles of product into boxes.

Clean labels or product off bottles.

Be responsible for the final quality of every unit that is placed into a customer’s shipper. If unsure of the quality standard required, there is a responsibility to check with the Team Leader before packing questionable product.

Be responsible for the safety and housekeeping in the immediate work area. Help to clean up if the packing line stops for any period. Report any unsafe conditions to your Team Leader or Supervisor.

Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards, and follow all plant policies and procedures.

Other related duties as required.

Qualifications What You’ll Bring

High School Diploma / GED

Able to stand, sit, lift, bend, crouch, reach consistently for eight hours.

Must be able to work in accordance with Health and Safety and GMP regulations.

Constant interaction with a variety of chemicals and chemical products
