CNC Programmer
This role is onsite in Portland, Oregon working the day shift.
Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs to support precision machining operations.
Troubleshoot and resolve CNC programming, tooling, and machining issues to minimize downtime and scrap.
Collaborate with engineering, operators, maintenance, and quality teams to support production and continuous improvement.
Interpret 3D models, drawings, and GD&T to ensure accurate machining and adherence to specifications.
Promote and lead safe work practices within CNC and manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
5–10 years of hands‑on CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G‑code, conversational programming).
Experience with CAD/CAM systems and 3D modeling software, with the ability to interpret complex models and drawings.
Solid understanding of machining processes, tooling selection, material properties, and fixturing concepts.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues, communicate effectively across teams, and apply critical thinking in fast‑paced settings.
Salary
$34–$40/hr + Bonus (DOE)
