Job Description: The Human Resources Business Partner will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, supporting a broad range of employee relations and HR initiatives. This role partners closely with management and internal HR teams to align people strategies with organizational goals while fostering a positive, compliant, and high-performing work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary HR point of contact for assigned departments, supporting leaders and employees with day-to-day people matters
Provide guidance on employee relations topics including performance management, workplace concerns, coaching, and investigations
Partner with leadership to strengthen engagement, morale, productivity, and retention
Advise managers on policy interpretation, disciplinary actions, performance improvement plans, and employee development
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on hiring strategies and workforce planning
Support learning initiatives by identifying development needs and partnering on training solutions
Coordinate with benefits and leave teams on accommodation, disability, and leave-related matters
Maintain accurate HR documentation and ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies
Serve as a backup resource to other HR Business Partners as needed
Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
6+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including 3–4 years focused on employee relations
Demonstrated experience advising managers and senior leaders in a strategic HR capacity
Experience supporting many employees across multiple departments or business units
Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Workday or similar HRIS preferred
Bachelor’s degree preferred (equivalent experience considered)
HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP, SPHR, SHRM-SCP) are a plus
Strong communication, judgment, discretion, and relationship-building skills
