About the Position The
Director of Electrical Construction
will provide full operational and financial leadership for the Sacramento-area branch, which generates approximately
$30–50 million in annual revenue . This role carries P&L responsibility and oversees all aspects of project execution, staffing, client relationships, and business performance.
Reporting to senior executive leadership, the Director will lead project management and field operations teams, ensure consistent delivery across multiple active projects, and drive profitability while maintaining the company’s safety and quality standards. This is a highly visible leadership role with significant autonomy and influence over regional success.
Requirements
10+ years of progressive experience in electrical construction
Prior experience as a
Senior Project Manager, Project Executive, or Operations Manager
Proven ability to lead and develop project management and field teams
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with full financial accountability
Electrical construction projects ranging from
$1M to $20M
Experience operating within a union environment strongly preferred
Demonstrated success managing branch or regional operations
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and risk management
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
Relevant industry certifications are a plus

$225,000 – $250,000, plus performance-based bonus
