Overview Gallagher Bassett is seeking a seasoned Senior Analyst to join our product development team. As a Senior Product Analyst, you will play a crucial role in guiding product development and strategy by leveraging data‑driven insights. Your responsibilities will include reporting, analyzing and evaluating key performance metrics of our analytics and AI products. Using advanced data analysis techniques, you will extract insights from large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and user behaviors that inform product journeys and maximize business outcomes.
How you’ll make an impact
Product Performance Monitoring : Track and monitor key product metrics, such as user acquisition, retention, conversion rates, and revenue. Identify areas for improvement and use data to inform product strategy. Assist in developing key metrics for new products and forecasting product performance.
User Experience : Gather user feedback and analyze results to gain insights into the overall user experience and behaviors. Utilize this data to optimize product experiences and drive user engagement.
Data Visualization : Develop and maintain clear and compelling visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate key product metrics and trends to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Your efforts will enable the business to measure outcomes and make data‑driven decisions.
Team Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to transform data insights into actionable recommendations. Contribute to discussions on product roadmap, ensuring successful product releases, and ultimately satisfying users.
Competitive Analysis : Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand market trends, identify opportunities, and benchmark product performance against competitors.
Adhoc Analysis : Conduct adhoc and one‑time analysis, summarize findings, and provide recommendations as needed to support various product needs. Focus on analyzing product audits and proof of concept results.
About you
Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
Bachelor's degree or relevant combination of education and experience.
5‑8 years of experience as a product analyst.
Skilled in using tools such as SQL, Python, R, or other analytics programming languages to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
Experience creating clear and impactful visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Experience with Power BI is preferred.
Experience working with disparate data sources and creating unified solutions.
Ability to work independently, flexible and adaptable attitude, can manage shifting priorities, requests, and timelines.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex analytical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
