Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support a short-term data cleanup and system support initiative for a fast-paced organization. This role will focus on reviewing and correcting vendor master data, assisting with system validation, and supporting the AP team during a high-volume project. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, Excel-proficient, and comfortable working in a project-driven environment with tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Review and correct vendor names, addresses, and master data within the accounts payable system
Ensure vendor information is accurate, consistent, and compliant across systems
Assist with data validation during the implementation of new AP automation software
Identify discrepancies and collaborate with internal teams to resolve data issues
Maintain clear documentation of data updates and changes
Support the AP team with ad hoc cleanup, reconciliation, and project-related tasks
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail
Qualifications:
1+ year of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience
Strong understanding of basic invoice review and AP processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, sorting, and filtering
High attention to detail and strong data accuracy skills
Comfortable learning new systems and adapting to evolving technologyExperience with vendor master file maintenance preferred
Ability to stay organized and focused in a project-based role
