Travel Network Deployment Engineer (TS/SCI Required)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Deployment Engineer

to support a program with the Intelligence Community on‑site in

Springfield, VA, with up to 25‑50%.

The

Network Deployment Engineer

will deliver solutions to customers and network systems in accordance with customer requirements. This is a long‑term job opportunity. Work is on site in

Springfield, VA with up to 25‑50% travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites.

Responsibilities for theNetwork Deployment Engineerinclude:

Deliver and deploy network solutions as required for selected customer

Develop documentation on customer systems and objectives

Meet with customers to demo/train on new network architecture

Make configuration changes and deploy patches as necessary

Troubleshoot and engineer Azure cloud environments

Required Qualifications for theNetwork Engineerinclude:

5+ years of network engineering experience

Must have active TS/SCI

Bachelor’s degree in related field

Expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols

Understanding of ExpressRoute and Azure Virtual Networks

Experience in WAN/Internet transport and routing, including BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN

Understanding of network security and STIG

Compensation for theDatabase Engineerinclude:

Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 depending on experience
