About the Role We’re seeking a creative and dependable Video Editor & Graphic Designer to join our Maine-based team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in post-production, enjoys shaping compelling narratives through video and design, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
You will focus primarily on editing video content and creating supporting graphics for digital campaigns, social media, and web use. This position is centered on collaboration, storytelling, and execution, working closely with producers, strategists, and creative teammates rather than traveling for in-person video shoots.
Responsibilities
Edit short- and long-form video content for digital advertising, social media, and web platforms
Design graphics, motion assets, and website mockups to support video content and campaigns
Collaborate with producers and creative team members to translate concepts into polished deliverables
Adapt existing footage into multiple formats optimized for different platforms and audiences
Organize, label, and manage video assets, project files, and media libraries
Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining quality and meeting tight deadlines
Ensure all deliverables align with campaign messaging, brand standards, and platform requirements
Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving political marketing environment
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in video editing (agency, marketing, or political experience preferred)
2+ years of experience in graphic design
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects, Photoshop, or Illustrator strongly preferred
Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual composition
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a creative team
Comfort working with conservative political clients and campaigns
Bonus Skills
Experience with motion graphics, color correction, or audio cleanup/mixing
Social media video formatting and optimization (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
Familiarity with digital advertising best practices and performance-driven creative
Experience working with templated or high-volume creative workflows
Pay $40,000 – $55,000 per year
