Manager - Community Residential Rehabilitation (CRR) Level 3 Program
Claratel Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Manager to oversee the daily operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality, semi-independent support services in our Community Residential Rehabilitation (CRR) Level 3 transitional housing program, serving adults with behavioral health challenges in compliance with Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) requirements. Job Summary
The Residential Manager is responsible for the overall management of the CRR Level 3 residential site, focusing on program compliance, staff supervision, facility management, and client welfare. This position ensures that the structured, semi-independent environment provides a minimum of 36 hours per week of staff support and a minimum of 3 hours per week of skills training, community integration activities, and/or personal services to residents, as indicated on their treatment plans. The goal is to promote recovery, stability, and independent living. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Program Oversight Ensure the delivery of all authorized services, specifically the minimum required 36 hours per week of staff support and 3 hours per week of skills training/services per resident. Ensure the completion of a Community Needs Assessment to determine to build a comprehensive list of skills, services, and supported needed to achieve recovery, stability, and independent living. Oversee the development and implementation of treatment plans ensuring services are person-centered, recovery-focused, clinically appropriate, and inclusive of a housing goal. Monitor and review clinical documentation, including progress notes, service logs, and incident reports, for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with DBHDD, Medicaid, and agency standards. Participate in the interdisciplinary team process, including treatment plan reviews and clinical meetings. Manage client admissions and discharges in coordination with the clinical team and external referral sources. Staff Supervision and Management Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate all residential direct care staff. Develop and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and adherence to program standards, including 24/7 on-call availability for emergencies. Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and disciplinary action as necessary. Ensure all staff complete initial and ongoing training requirements as mandated by DBHDD and other regulatory bodies. Required Qualifications
Education:
H.S. Diploma or GED.
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Public Health, or a related field. Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a behavioral health or substance use disorder setting.
Preferred:
Residential experience. Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory or administrative experience in a residential or community-based setting preferred. Knowledge/Skills:
Thorough knowledge of Georgia DBHDD rules and regulations, specifically those governing Community Residential Rehabilitation (CRR) Level 3 services. Familiarity with clinical documentation standards, Medicaid billing, and Electronic Health Records (EHR). Strong leadership, organizational, and crisis management skills. Ability to work well with diverse populations, maintain professional conduct and standards, hold self and staff accountable, communicate clearly and concisely. Other:
Must be able to pass a satisfactory criminal history background check. Valid Georgia Driver's License and insurable driving record. Working Conditions
This is a full-time position requiring flexibility, including the ability to work some evenings, weekends, and provide 24/7 on-call availability to address residential emergencies or staffing needs. The position requires working in a community-based residential setting. Pre-employment drug screening and successful completion of a criminal history background check is required.
