Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** Lead and coordinate daily operations of the sand and gravel plant during evening shift* Monitor equipment and production processes to ensure efficiency and safety* Train, guide, and support plant personnel to meet performance goals* Perform routine inspections and assist with maintenance planning* Promote and enforce safety, environmental, and company policies**What Are We Looking For*** Demonstrated leadership skills in an industrial or manufacturing setting* Strong understanding of aggregate plant operations and equipment* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues effectively* Commitment to safety and continuous improvement* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills**Conditions of Employment*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check**Work Environment*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.**Physical Demands of the Job*** Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and lift materials up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift* Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment safely and effectively* Visual and auditory ability to identify hazards and communicate clearly in a noisy environment* Capability to work at heights and in confined spaces as needed* Endurance to perform physically demanding tasks in varying weather conditions**What We Offer*** Starting Pay $27.34 per hour DOE* 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions* Highly competitive benefits programs, including:
