Position Summary Responsible for assisting UNMC Clinical Research Coordinators and Principal Investigators as needed in the Neurological Sciences Clinical Research Center with project management, coordination, and implementation of clinical trials. Provide clinical, laboratory, and administrative support to the Neurological Sciences Clinical Research Center to ensure trials move forward toward enrollment goals.

Required Qualifications Required Education: Healthcare, Science or related field. Consider four years related education/experience.
Required Experience: 2 years experience in clinical research, healthcare, and/or laboratory setting. Consider four years related education/experience.
Required License: None.
Required Computer Applications: Microsoft Word.
Required Other Computer Applications: Microsoft Excel, Outlook.
Required Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Intermediate computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Strong writing skills for creating basic correspondence, summarizing events for documentation, and assisting with completion of regulatory documents.
Proficiency with telecommunications systems and general office materials.
Strong organizational skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively with department coworkers, research subjects, and external customers.
Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize and problem solve. Ability to perform phlebotomy, specimen processing, and CUA waived testing.
Preferred Qualifications Preferred Experience: Phlebotomy experience, laboratory processing, study coordination.
Preferred License: Basic Life Support and Hazardous Shipping Certification within 3 months of employment.
Preferred Computer Applications: Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint.
Preferred Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Advanced computer proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Proficiency with laboratory equipment, supplies, and documents.
Familiarity with research equipment, supplies, and documents.
