You will be working with an organization on the leading edge of diagnostic radiology. In fact, our radiology department is regarded as one of the top five in the United States, and performs over 453,000 diagnostic imaging examinations annually.

Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Coordinates the care of patients in need of special procedures in various radiology areas.

Responsibilities

Obtains insurance information and pre-certification room referring physician or insurance company.

Maintains files and records on all patients, coordinates transportation for inpatients, and performs patient procedure follow-up as instructed.

Coordinates the flow of all examinations by working closely with the radiologists, technical staff and the referring physicians offices.

Monitors patient’s physiological and psychological needs and reports patient concerns to appropriate staff member, physician or supervisor.

Minimum Requirements

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 2-5 years

Supervisor Experience: No Experience

Preferred Requirements

Experience: 5-10 years

Licenses & Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
