For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $80,640 - $120,900 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. About the Role As the Procurement Planning Supervisor at Motivair, a Schneider Electric company, you will be responsible for leading the planning and coordination of materials, components, and supplier capacity to support the company’s mission-critical cooling product lines. You will ensure alignment between customer demand, engineering requirements, and manufacturing capabilities, while collaborating across Schneider Electric’s global supply chain network. This role plays a key part in ensuring reliability, agility, and responsiveness in upstream operations, with a strong focus on supplier performance and inventory optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage upstream supply plans to support the production of mission-critical cooling solutions, ensuring alignment with customer orders and engineering timelines.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure timely sourcing and availability of key components.

Partner with Schneider Electric’s global supply chain and sourcing teams to leverage economies of scale and supplier performance data.

Manage supplier planning relationships, ensuring capacity visibility and proactive risk mitigation.

Optimize inventory levels of long-lead and high-value components while maintaining production flexibility.

Drive continuous improvement in upstream planning processes, focusing on lead-time reduction, forecasting accuracy, and process automation.

Utilize Schneider Electric planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP, MRP, APS systems) to support real-time decision-making and analytics.

Participate in S&OP and demand planning processes, representing upstream supply readiness.

Lead root-cause analysis and corrective action planning in cases of supply disruptions.

Develop, coach, and mentor a planning team to support both operational excellence and long-term growth.

What Qualifications to be successful?

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) and APICS/CSCP certification preferred.

Experience:

7+ years of supply chain, procurement, or production planning experience in a manufacturing or engineered-to-order environment.

Proven track record managing supplier relationships and planning complex component supply chains.

Leadership experience in S&OP and demand planning processes.

Experience working within a matrixed, global organization is a strong plus—ideally within Schneider Electric or similar environment.

Skills & Competencies

Deep understanding of upstream supply planning, lead time constraints, and supplier capacity planning.

Strong ERP/MRP planning system expertise (SAP or equivalent).

High proficiency in data analytics, reporting tools, and Excel.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Demonstrated leadership and change management capabilities.
