Job Overview As a key member of our Corporate Communications department, you will develop and implement strategic communication activities to enhance the company’s brand and reputation. This role requires a proactive mindset, strong relationship‑building skills, and the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement corporate communication strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
Develop engaging content for internal and external channels, including newsletters, LinkedIn, website, and intranet.
Support senior leadership in preparing speeches, presentations, and other communication materials.
Monitor and analyze media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and potential risks.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Marketing, HR, Legal) to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
Manage the company’s LinkedIn account and engage with followers to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Support various divisions in maintaining consistent corporate messaging.
Build trust and rapport through transparent, empathetic communication with stakeholders at all levels.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations.
Skills and Abilities
Strong writing and editing skills for clear, compelling messaging across audiences.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Proactive cross‑functional engagement to cultivate strategic relationships and drive collaborative outcomes.
Experience in media relations, crisis communications, and social media management, particularly on LinkedIn.
Proven track record of successfully managing communication projects and campaigns.
Previous experience managing LinkedIn accounts for corporate entities.
Knowledge of the food and nutrition industry is a plus.
Physical Requirements
The position is based in North American headquarters (Itasca, IL) and requires communication with multiple U.S. locations and occasional overseas locations.
Travel 10–15% (mostly domestic; occasional overseas).
Salary range: $68,000 – $72,000 annually.
