Job Description
Support budgeting and financial forecasting by building and maintaining data-driven financial models
Prepare financial reports on event profitability, operational expenses, and cash flow projections for the executive team
Track actual versus projected costs for live productions and identify key variances and cost‑saving opportunities
Conduct profitability analysis by event, client, and venue to inform pricing and strategic decisions
Analyze rental versus purchase decisions for production equipment and advise on ROI and asset optimization
Monitor equipment utilization, depreciation, and maintenance costs to improve resource allocation and returns
Track and report key KPIs such as cost per event, revenue per equipment type, and labor efficiency
Assist with cash flow management, financing needs, and other strategic initiatives under the CFO’s direction
Support M&A work, including financial due diligence, valuation modeling, projections, and integration support
Collaborate closely with operations, production, and leadership to turn data into clear, actionable insights
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis (corporate, operations, or similar)
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
Advanced Excel skills, including complex modeling, data manipulation, and presentation
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting
Background in asset-heavy, capital-intensive, or equipment-heavy industries is a strong plus
M&A or deal analysis experience is a plus but not required
Comfortable working on‑site, communicating with executives, and presenting data‑driven recommendations
Detail-oriented, highly analytical, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
