About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Prime Staffing to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Abilene, Texas, 79601!About the PositionSpecialty: RN – Pre-Operative (Pre-Op)Experience: 1–2 years of recent pre-op or perioperative nursing experience preferredLicense: Active State or Compact RN LicenseCertifications: BLS – AHA; ACLS preferredMust-Have: Strong assessment skills, ability to educate patients before procedures, and effective communication with surgical teams Description: The Pre-Op RN is responsible for preparing patients for surgery by conducting thorough assessments, verifying pre-surgical instructions, initiating IVs, administering medications, and coordinating with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and readiness.
Requirements Required for Onboarding:
Active RN License BLS ACLS(preferred)
