Registered Nurse – Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN)

Travel RN-PCU jobs in Hopewell, VA let you deliver intermediate care for patients who need more monitoring than a general medical-surgical unit but less than intensive care.
You will work at the facility, a modern hospital serving a diverse patient population, where you assess moderate to high acuity patients, monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms, and respond to changes in health status. Your responsibilities include administering medications, managing IVs, and providing post-surgical care for patients recovering from major procedures or acute conditions. Collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals is essential, as is educating patients and families about recovery and ongoing care.
Required qualifications include an active registered nurse (RN) license, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Experience with telemetry or critical care is preferred, and 1–2 years of relevant nursing experience is recommended. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) is necessary.
