Facility Overview:
We are seeking a full-time clinical Hematologist/Oncologist to join a high-caliber, quality-focused cancer center team. Our expansive Cancer Network serves the West Michigan communities, including the Lake Michigan shoreline, offering cutting-edge care with access to a multidisciplinary focus and affiliation with the University of Michigan for innovative research and resources.
- Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology patient care, including new patient referrals, active treatment, and follow-up care.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a positive experience for patients, families, and staff.
- Transition between two facilities: Richard J. Lacks Sr. Cancer Center and Johnson Family Cancer Center .
- Engage in a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary oncology service line with access to subspecialties such as Radiation Oncology, Neuro Oncology, and Surgical Oncology.
- Utilize an extensive primary care referral network for strong patient support.
- Lead and collaborate with ancillary support staff including Advanced Practice Providers, Infusion services, Nurse Navigation, and more.
- Participate in research and clinical trials as well as program marketing to enhance outreach and patient engagement.
- Fellowship-trained in Hematology/Oncology.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (must be board-certified within 2 years).
- Valid Michigan medical license (or willing to obtain).
- Clean malpractice history preferred.
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active).
- DEA and BLS/ACLS certification (or willing to obtain).
- Open to new graduates and H1B visa candidates (not J1).
- Fellowship Training in Hematology/Oncology - Required
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility (Board-certified within 2 years) - Required
- Michigan License (or willingness to obtain) - Required
- DEA License - Required
- BLS and ACLS (or willingness to obtain) - Required
