What We're Looking For:
- Schedule: 7am-7pm, Day Shift, Full Time
- Department: Orthopedic Specialty Care Unit (OSCU)
- Location: Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital - Charlotte, NC
About the unit
- Two post-surgical orthopedic units
- OSCU-B: 24 private beds
- 4SW: 15 private beds
- Remote telemetry capability
- Primary focus on post-op orthopedic patients
- Unrestricted visiting hours
- Nurse-to-patient ratio typically 1:5-6, based on acuity
- Charge RN with reduced assignment for support
- Strong interdisciplinary teamwork every shift
- Bedside shift report that keeps patients informed and engaged
- Nurses who enjoy orthopedic and post-op care

What We're Looking For:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
- Experience: One year relevant experience, preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. See essential functions for further requirements
