Staff Accountant
OAK RIDGE, TN $50,000 ? $62,000 Annually
Job Title: Staff Accountant Location: Oak Ridge, TN Company Overview: INVO PEO is a professional employer organization (PEO) that provides HR solutions to small and mid-sized businesses across the United States. We specialize in payroll processing, tax administration, employee benefits, and risk management. We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant I to join our team in Oak Ridge, TN. Job Summary: The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing accounting duties related to general ledger and financial reporting. The successful candidate will work a regular schedule in our Oak Ridge, TN office full-time Monday through Friday. Key Responsibilities: Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and other general ledger activities. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Perform month-end and year-end close activities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation. Provide support to other accounting team members as needed. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is not required but preferred. Associate’s degree in accounting or related field is required. Proficiency in Sage Intacct is desired. Minimum of 3 years accounting experience. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to perform assigned tasks and prioritize according to deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
