I am working with a very well‑known CPA firm in the area to find them their next Sr. Audit Associate. They are known for customer service, and the outstanding culture at their firm. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years external audit experience with a public firm, including leading engagement teams, currently holds a CPA or in process of obtaining, able to review past and present work, make needed corrections or recommendations, and is able to research complex audit issues. We are seeking someone who is hands on with their team and also their clients. A very generous compensation plan and a handsome benefits package will be offered to the successful candidate.
Sr. Audit Associate Functions:
Lead audit projects as well as the client audit teams
Conduct audits of financial statements, reviews and compilations as well as involvement with corporate and individual tax returns in multiple industry sectors.
Community involved with an outgoing personality
Develop new client relationships while fostering existing contacts
Be a positive mentor and hands‑on leader and continue the advancement of the firm
Sr. Audit Associate Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA Certification, or well into the process of obtaining, additional specialty certifications a plus
3+ years external audit experience with a public firm
Ability to utilize firm technology
Strong multi‑tasking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Passion and desire to audit and ability to look at the full picture of clients’ needs
