Position Summary Reporting to the CFO, the Business Analyst provides essential ERP systems support using Business Central and Power BI to meet the company’s data needs. The role produces data, reports, and insights for end users and decision makers. Responsibilities include using data to identify trends, uncover improvement opportunities, and drive organizational efficiency. Success in this role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and analytical insight.
Essential Job Functions
Gathering, reviewing, and analyzing business and industry data using data analytics tools.
Liaising between various business departments and groups.
Maintaining, evaluating, analyzing, and communicating systems processes.
Developing and maintaining a process for end users and decision makers to request reports from Business Central using Power BI and other data extraction tools.
Reviewing and analyzing data before a request is fulfilled, including relevant analytics and observations about how the data may be used.
Identifying opportunities for process automation and recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in business and/or data analytics.
Advanced proficiency in Python, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, AI, and Business Central.
Detail‑oriented with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
Demonstrated ability to for quality and accuracy before release.
Strong sense of urgency and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with staff at all levels.
Location: Indianapolis, IN | Salary: $60,000.00–$85,000.00 (3 weeks ago)
