RN House Administrator – MMC Bid San
Location:
Maine Medical Center – Biddeford/Sanford
Shift:
Part Time Night Shift (1900-0700)
Bonus:
Up to $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with >3 years RN experience.
Position Summary:
The RN House Administrator directs Nursing Services operations and acts as hospital administrator responsible for coordinating institutional activities on the assigned shift on all assigned campuses. The role directs and oversees department employees and activities and supports and enforces hospital and departmental policies, procedures and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and supervise nursing staff and nursing services operations.
Coordinate inpatient admissions and allocate resources to meet patient needs as demands change.
Ensure compliance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Act as hospital administrator for institutional activities on the assigned shift.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or Associate’s Degree in Nursing with equivalent experience.
License/Certifications: Current Registered Nurse license from the Maine Board of Nursing; Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date; Current ACLS Certification preferred.
Experience: Five years of experience in an acute care setting; three years of experience in hospital admissions related environment preferred; day-to-day oversight of clinical staff required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the ED or ICU; or preferably 5 years of med‑surg plus leadership experience.
Strong leadership and patient flow management skills.
