Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Merrimack, NH. Summary
The Senior Data Engineer will work on building strategic platforms. This role is focused on delivering robust, scalable, and maintainable rule-based systems that support dynamic decision-making across technology landscape. You will work closely with engineering, product, and business teams to implement rule logic, optimize performance, and ensure operational excellence in a cloud‑native environment. Duties
Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives Can collaborate well with the Business, your team members, work independently, and influence your technology peers REQUIREMENTS
5-8 years of experience in systems engineering or software development, with exposure to enterprise platforms Extensive experience in data engineering, including data modeling, analysis, and aggregation Experience in ETL/ELT tools (Informatica or SnapLogic or equivalent) Experience in Python Advanced experience designing, deploying, and operating systems in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure) Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle) and ability to extract data from multiple systems Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, M‑Query, security, and gateway configuration Strong skills in performance optimization, troubleshooting, and debugging Strong analytical and logical skills Ability to design and build APIs and participate in code reviews and technical discussions Ability to analyze trends and recommend improvements An innovative mindset committed to automating and streamlining manual processes The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable.
