The **Facilities Manager at The Cosmopolita****n** will oversee the operation of the hotel shop department under the direction of the Director of Facilities. It is their responsibility to manage the maintenance and operations of the building and manage the staff of the engineering department to ensure all work is scheduled, assigned, and completed.**THE DAY-TO-DAY:*** Execute department strategy consistent with the strategic plan, the fiscal budget, and the company’s short term and long-term profitability objectives* Directly supervise all engineering activities and maintenance personnel including performance feedback, setting work priorities and goals, scheduling, hiring, training, promotions, and employee engagement* Supervise the delivery and measurement of guest service consistent with the company’s service standards and brand attributes* Ensure compliance with all local and federal health, safety, and building codes and maintain accurate record keeping of department activities and documents* Continuously monitor utility costs and consumption and maintain required logs for all utilities* Leverage programs to maintain preventative maintenance schedules and procedures and oversee preventative maintenance, cleaning, and repairs/replacement of equipment* Provide input and manage levels of inventory and all purchases for parts, tools, equipment, and machinery to property standards**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:*** High School Diploma or GED required* 2+ years of prior relevant experience as a manager or related technical education required**THE PERKS & BENEFITS:*** Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally* Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more* Free meals in our employee dining room* Free parking on and off shift* Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees)* Professional and personal development through programs and networking opportunities as well as volunteer opportunities in the community**VIEW JOB DESCRIPTION:**Are you ready to **JOIN THE SHOW**At MGM Resorts, we exist to entertain the human race and provide an unforgettable escape.
