Technica is seeking to hire a Warehouse Specialist for the DLA Distribution Center, Inventory Department.
Schedule Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Position Summary
Performs a variety of warehousing duties requiring an understanding of the establishment's storage plan. Work involves most of the following:
Verifying materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages
Routing materials to prescribed storage locations
Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials IAW prescribed storage methods
Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage
Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment
May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties
Uses WMS and other Government Data Systems resolving common error conditions, responds to computer output instructions or error conditions, and following SOP
Basic Qualifications
Must be 18 years of age or older
Valid driver's license
Must be able to sit and stand throughout the shift
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally
Must have the ability to be cleared for a NACI clearance to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)
Must be comfortable in a Warehouse environment (hot/cold weather) and requiring steel toe shoes
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.
